Kissa naam ka ...

via Speed
1. Is the name you have now the same name that's on your birth certificate? If not, what's changed?
Same old , same old

2. If you could change your name (first, middle and/or last), what would it be?
I wouldn’t change a thing about it ! its short and simple – what else can I ask for !

3. Why were you named what you were? (Is there a story behind it? Who specifically was responsible for naming you?)
My mom’s eldest sister suggested my name. Its based on my birth “rashi” – “tu la” which needs a name to begin with “r” or “t”…

4. Are there any names you really hate or love? What are they and why?
Names I love - Riya,Diva,Aaliya,Anjali,Arya,Riva
I don’t usually like long names. But the more meaningful they are the better.

5. Is the analysis of your name at kabalarians.com / triggur.org / astroexpert accurate? How or how isn't it?This is what the site says:

Your name of Ritu has made you versatile and creative. There is hardly anything you cannot do if you put your mind to it, but a driving urge leads you to one experience after another, seldom finishing what you start. You cannot find peace of mind or lasting contentment in anything you do. As soon as a challenge is met, boredom sets in, and you yearn for another experience. This restlessness makes it difficult for you to assume responsibility and to establish stable, progressive conditions in your life. You could do well in sales work or in meeting the public where quickness of mind and expression are all important. You have many friends, but lose interest in people very quickly. Your intense mental activity spoils system and concentration, and plays havoc with relaxation and sleep. Out of your quick thinking has been borne hasty speech. Acting on impulse instead of with forethought has led to many disappointments and bitter experiences.

That sounds like me…..some………

Emode Overdrive -

Are You an Optimist or a Pessimist?

You're pretty optimistic, but you've got a good dash of realism. The world isn't a vale of tears, but it's not the Good Ship Lollipop, either.Well, everything's not quite roses and teddy bears for you, but you do tend to look on the bright side of life (we can hear those Monty Python boys whistling right now...). Sure, you sometimes bitch and moan about your problems (who doesn't?), but deep down you're pretty sure that everything will eventually turn out fine. When the weather man says it's going to be sunny, you leave your umbrella at home. In general, you like to be around people, and you try to make new friends when you can. You do your best to take things at face value, rather than making mountains out of molehills. Basically, the world is sort of like a big coconut to you: tough and hairy on the outside, but, when you get down into it, there's good stuff inside.

Are You a People Pleaser?

You aim to please - most of the time. Bringing a smile to someone's face is just par for the course for you. Although keeping everyone happy is a high priority, you still try to look out for number one. You are both familiar and comfortable with compromise. You try your best to keep the peace in your relationships. And if maintaining that peace entails some sacrificing, that's life. Even though you don't neglect yourself in your decisions, you might often place others' needs above your own. Be careful not to sell yourself short. If you give more than your share, you might not be demanding the amount of respect you deserve. Having some symptoms of the "Disease to Please" is a good thing. It shows how much you value others in your life. People love people pleasers! It's great to place "other people" at the top of your list, but just make sure that you stay up there too!

Are You a Perfectionist?
Appearance

Although you're probably very conscious of how you look, you're willing to occasionally leave your house without every hair in place and every crease in line. You're very aware of your appearance, but you don't obsess about it. You're okay with changes in your getting-ready routine, and are fine with not always looking your absolute best.

Possessions

Looks like you might slack off a bit when it comes to taking care of your possessions. Since you don't need your surroundings to be neat and organized, and every little trinket doesn't have to have a spot to call home, the condition of your things isn't a big concern. Clothes? Furniture? CDs and books? They're there to be enjoyed, not preserved for generations to come, so you probably don't invest too much time in taking care of them. And it's fine by you if everything isn't always in peak shape. Being mellow about your stuff is great, but if you want to save yourself some money in replacement costs and extend the lifespan of your possessions, it's worth spending a little time maintaining them.

Work

We can tell that you prefer to turn in top-notch work and always invest a significant amount of pride in every task you take on. But you also understand that it's important to have an open mind and a flexible attitude at work. That's why you're able to occasionally let your personal standards slide a little when your employer needs you to. So you stay open to change, while at the same time remaining organized and efficient enough to plan out a day or week at a time. Keep up the good balance!

Are You Sure You're You?

Great news! There's a strong chance that you're really who you think you are. Most people have fallen victim to the hazards of modern times. But you're one of the lucky few who has managed to keep a strong sense of identity. No matter where you go, there you are. Keep it up, because being you is an incredibly valuable skill.

Of course you may have a few residual doubts. There may be times when you wonder if the real you hasn't wandered off somewhere - to join the circus, or an Internet startup. That's normal. But based on your responses, you don't exhibit too many of the warning signs. You've kept the high-risk identity-loss activities to a minimum. You seem to have a firm grip on your priorities, and you know where you're heading.

Some suggestions for remaining yourself: keep a journal where you can write your more intimate thoughts. If you ever start losing your identity, you'll have persuasive legal proof of the transformation. Another idea: label your underwear. During an identity crisis, it's usually the first thing to go.

How Do You Connect?

The Networker

There's no doubt about it: You like to be in the know, and you spend a lot of time checking in with friends and family to find out what they're up to. You're a networker in the most natural sense and probably are better at keeping other people in touch than they are. What is it about you? Your easy-going style, your sincere desire to hook up the people you like in your life? You're just someone who doesn't take relationships for granted. You're probably still in touch with the kids you met at camp years ago — and you plan on keeping the friends you have now forever.

You love hooking your friends up with one another, and your friends might tease you about your obsession with matchmaking — but they know when they need a place to crash in Chicago, or a lead on a cool new job for the summer, that you're the person who can really connect them with a place to stay, some free concert tix, a new friend, a new job...

How Passionate Are You?

Mighty Magenta

Well, super girl, there's no containing you and your almighty passion. With your extra-strong drive, there's no holding back when something's important to you — whether it's matters of the heart or matters of the head.

Enthusiasm is your game, and you're one to go after your heart's desire. Wanna run for student body president? Throw a fab Spring Fling? Let no man (or woman) stand in your way! While some may think your multiple interests and will of steel a little over-the-top, you probably feel differently. After all, pushing the boundaries and breaking a few rules is a small price to pay to enter the winner's circle.

A mistake-free life is hardly worth living, and you'd surely rather be led by your all-consuming convictions than wait backstage for life to happen. Patience may be a virtue, but unbridled enthusiasm is your true ticket to happiness. Whatever your dream, your powerful passion is sure to put you in the fast lane.

What Are You Afraid Of?
Ritu, you are most afraid of moving forward

Have you ever noticed that you're more concerned about making the "right" decisions than many people around you when it comes to your future? Or do you sometimes worry more than you should about committing to your personal or professional goals or feel anxious that you'll never really be successful? If so, you're not alone. There are many people who share your fear of moving forward.

It can be a real strength to recognize your fears. By being aware of the things that frighten you, you can assess whether fear is helping you or negatively impacting your life. For instance, a fear of moving forward may sometimes motivate you to take action in a positive way, like by experiencing a wider variety of things than others.

However, fear's negative aspects can sometimes be more damaging than you realize. Living with fear not only prevents you from living life to the fullest; it can also have a significant negative impact on your energy, health, and your close relationships if not kept in check.

Who's Your Type?
Your type is the BrainLet's put it this way — you would never date the Scarecrow from the Wizardof Oz. A guy without a brain is not the guy for you! Your Mr. Right is well-read, extremely knowledgeable, and can beat anyone at Trivial Pursuit. Hecan hold his own in any intellectual conversation, and he's got aninsatiable desire to learn. You prefer a strong mind over strong muscles and have no patience for someone who considers TV mentally stimulating.Whether it's because he can take apart a computer and rebuild it at thespeed of light or the way he can recite the price of any stock on themarket, his brainpower impresses you. You love to learn, and there's nobetter knowledge than the kind you get from someone you love!

What Type Are You? You are the Girl Next Door
Cute, fun, and sweet, you're Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Aniston, and Meg Ryan all rolled up into one — the perfect Girl Next Door. Naturally pretty, unpretentious, and generous, you demand your share of respect, but you aren't particularly high-maintenance. What's your ideal date? Probably a Blockbuster night — you don't mind skipping an evening on the town if it means getting some old-fashioned snuggling on the sofa. Careful yet spontaneous, you're a little bit of the Guy's Girl, a smidge of Sorority Sister (the nice kind), and just a hint of the Hippie Chick. But you've got an appeal that's all your own, which is why the guys can't stay away. People are attracted to your strong values and traditional ways. Your winning smile, bright eyes, and loving nature will make anyone want to hold on tight and never let go.

"You must remember this, a kiss is still a

classic story of love in trying times, chock
full of both cynicism and hope. You obviously
believe in true love, but you're also
constantly aware of practicality and societal
expectations. That's not always fun, but at
least it's realistic. Try not to let the Nazis
